Easter, the biggest Orthodox religious holiday, which is celebrated in Cyprus with great solemnity and hope for Man's Resurrection, coincides with the rebirth of nature. Evening Services take place throughtout the Holy Week. Don't miss the chance to attend the evening Mass on Good Friday and Saturday. On Good Friday 02/04/10 processions of the decorated sepulchers, take place in all parishes around 20:30. On Easter Sunday, Monday and Tuesday traditional dances and games are organized in many villages
